Who We Serve

Serving refugees and the local Church

World Relief Minnesota…

Serves the most vulnerable

refugee 3World Relief Minnesota affirms our commitment to resettling refugees from relief situations abroad to the Twin Cities. Then, we provide relationships and utilize programs to empower refugees towards the complementary goals of sustainability and transformation.

We believe there is a biblical mandate for serving and loving the refugee:

When a stranger (alien, refugee) resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. – Leviticus 19:33-34

Jesus speaking in Matthew 25 – “For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was in prison, and you came to me” (35-36) … “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me” (40)
