World Relief Minnesota will be offering three internships for the spring semester (January-May): Immigration Program Intern, Employment Program Intern, and Communications Intern.    Contact mnvolunteers@wr.org for more information.

Immigration Intern
Purpose of this Position: To provide support to the Affidavit of Relationship (AOR) Program within the Immigration Department. The Affidavit of Relationship Program allows refugees in the United States to apply for reunification with their persecuted family members overseas. This position also provides general administrative support to the Immigration Department.

Immigration Program Intern Spring 2012 Position Description

Employment Intern
Purpose of this Position: To provide direct assistance, support, and encouragement to new refugees in search of employment. To assist Employment Services Department in providing refugees with training, one-on-one mentoring and administrative tasks.

Employment Services Intern Spring 2012 Position Description

Communications Intern
Purpose of this position: To enhance and facilitate the internal and external communication and awareness goals of World Relief Minnesota through social media, newsletters, and story-writing. To provide support to the volunteer program and other church and community engagement efforts through administration, event-planning, follow-up, and representing WRM at various Twin City venues as needed.
